Course Overview

This course is the second step in the Cisco Networking Academy’s CCNA certification pathway. It builds on foundational networking knowledge and focuses on configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches, introducing wireless networking, and applying security best practices.

Course Requirements

There are no formal requirements for this Cisco Networking course, but you should ideally have Level 2 qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Maths to gain the most from the programme.

What you will Learn

– Configure and troubleshoot routers and switches for advanced functionality in small networks.
– Implement VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, and EtherChannel to optimize network performance.
– Set up wireless LANs (WLANs) and understand wireless standards and security.
– Apply network security fundamentals to protect data and devices.
